Don’t ask me why, but Target has been one of my happy places for 15 years. My husband doesn’t understand it and sometimes neither do I, but all I know is I really miss running in for toothpaste and leaving with a new mug, towel and cute sweater. That’s currently out of the question due to social distancing, but the other night I started browsing the spring Hearth & Hand collection and all the cute Joanna Gaines goodies made me so happy (for a few minutes, I almost felt like a global pandemic wasn’t happening). If you want a lovely distraction and maybe some new kitchen and home goodies—here’s a look at some of my favorites. It would be perfect for birthday party goodies, or heck, even some slices of quarantine banana bread. Wood Coaster Set wood coaster set Credit: Target Buy It: $12.99, Target.com Two-toned wood. Table protection. These coasters make my heart go pitter patter. They feel like the perfect modern twist on a very classic design. Stoneware Serving Bowl stoneware serving bowl Credit: Target Buy It: $24.99, Target.com Do salads taste better when served out of pretty light blue bowls? I guess there’s only one way to find out. This color also comes in mugs, bowls and a serving platter and I can’t get enough of the barely there robin’s egg blue. Faux Rosemary Plant Faux Rosemary Plant in a pot Credit: Target Buy It: $4.99, Target.com I’m really hoping that I can turn my black thumb greenish, as I get ready to plant vegetables and herbs outside. In the meantime, this plant will definitely make it through and brighten up my work-from-home space. Soap Pump White White soap pump bottle Credit: Target Buy It: $9.99, Target.com This soap dispenser screams modern farmhouse (thank you, Joanna Gaines), and makes the constant hand washing a little more cheerful. (P.S. here’s the right way to wash your hands.) 16" Clock Silver Green 16-inch-silver-green-clock Credit: Target Buy It: $29.99, Target.com If you’re like me and can’t remember what day it is, let alone what time, this cheerful clock belongs on your wall. It would look perfect in a kitchen or wherever you need to glance at the time without also checking your phone (and getting sucked into Instagram or the news again).
