In my humble opinion, Valentine’s Day is a little overblown. While I’m a sucker for heart-shaped cookies or any excuse to have a date night with my husband, it’s easy to put too much pressure on ourselves to have a ~perfect~ romantic outing. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with laying low and showing your Valentine (or galentines!) some love with a delicious meal at home.

We love how versatile this Heart Caprese Salad is for V-Day. For a party-perfect galentine’s spread, you could serve the salad with toasted baguette slices, crudites and our Valentine’s Day party board. Or, for an easy date night, you could serve it as an appetizer before whipping up our 25-minute (but still super impressive) Lobster Ravioli.
